This Privacy Policy explains what information Stark Door (“Stark Door,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Stark Door is a garage door and gate company serving Charlotte, NC and the surrounding metro area.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site, call, text, or email us, we receive the details you share: typically your name, phone number, email address, city or ZIP code, the type of service you need, and any message or photos you send us.
Basic technical information. Like most websites, the servers that host this site may automatically log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
Cookies and similar technology. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site. Your browser may keep a small session setting so the opening animation is not replayed during the same visit; it is cleared when you close the tab.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, schedule a visit, and give you an estimate.
- To perform, follow up on, and stand behind our work, including our 1-year warranty.
- To keep business records, and to meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations.
- To protect the site from spam and misuse.
Calls and text messages
If you call or text us, or use the “text us” option on this site, we use your phone number to reply about your request. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and if you would like us to stop texting you, just tell us and we will.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers. Our website is hosted, and form submissions are processed, by Netlify. Form submissions are delivered to us by email, which is handled by our email provider. Google provides the fonts used on the site.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
- Business changes. If the business is sold or transferred, customer records may transfer with it.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to handle your request, honor our warranty, and meet record-keeping requirements. After that, we delete it or keep only what the law or our business records require.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the website form.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor reasonable requests as required.
